Job Description:
- Processing panels to prepare for installation.
- Perform all levels of installation for all commercial walk-in and transport refrigerators including sandwich panels, doors, lights, hinges, rails etc.
- Installing cold rooms and reefer boxes all types of flooring including fiberglass coating.
- Perform all levels of repair and maintenance for all commercial walk-in and transport refrigerators sandwich panels, doors, lights, hinges, rails etc.
- Prepare wooden and metal frames and structures for walk-in and transport refrigerators.
- Perform all levels of fitting, installation and maintenance services for all commercial cold rooms, trucks, containers, and trailers.
- Read complex schematics, blueprints, and layouts.
- Identify installation error and document problems.
- Identify recurring issues/problems and inform management about them.
- Ensure that all the tasks are completed within the stipulated time period.
- Perform all required tasks with little or no supervision.
- Conduct duties hygienically, efficiently and within the specified Quality Standards.
- Liaise with all necessary personnel in other departments as required before performing tasks.
- Liaise with other technicians for support and assistance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of direct experience in fitting, installation and maintenance of mobile transport and walk in refrigerators.
- Experience in working at reefer box factory.
- Experience in processing and handling sandwich panels post and while fitting.
- Ability to read technical data, manuals, and blueprints.
