As Technician Operator you will work in a thriving workshop environment overseeing the delivery of solutions to our global customer base. You will take responsibility for mechanical maintenance ensuring quality and completion. You will contribute to the success of a large team that plays an integral in our business. Supervising, toward predetermined goals and objectives problem recognition and specialized technical skills to develop solutions and action steps
As a Technician Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in maintaining plant production by making repairs within scope of expertise Commissioning, running, maintaining and repairing Baker Hughes equipment.
- Interpreting and following through on work orders following various safe work procedures
- Ensuring that the workshop procedures cover the actual work, and that they are followed.
- Making mechanical repairs on plant equipment and performs preventive maintenance on a scheduled basis. Learns to identify equipment malfunctions and repair before catastrophic failure
- Operating medium sized heavy equipment (e.g., Bobcat, man lift, forklift, trencher, etc.). Works outdoors year-round in all types of weather conditions aware of all safety hazards and follow all safety policies and procedures. Maintains department records.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have relevant workshop experience.
- Have a good mechanical skill, and the ability to multitask whilst using technical equipment show good problem-solving
- Have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, good mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills,
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of equipment
