Job Description:
- 1.Design and Development of Mechanism, Glass and Seals Part for Automotive vehicles.
- 2.Prepare of SOR for Mechanism, Glass and Seal Parts incorporating all requirements for new development
- 3.Knowledge of Design and Development Tools like APQP, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, GDandT Stack up and Analysis, DVPandR, IMCR, VA-VE, POKA-YOKE etc.
- 4.Design Proposal to meet the specified Performance, Weight, Cost etc. with limited guidance and Conceptualizing and designing parts and assemblies.
- 5.Knowledge of Global Regulatory and Homologation requirement of individual parts like Glass, Latches, Wipe and Wash System, Outside and Inside Rear View Mirrors, Outer and Inner Handles.
- 6.Knowledge of Free Body Diagram and Design calculation to meet Feel and effort targets
- 7.CAD Skills - should know the Catia Software with Surfacing, Assembly, drawing and Kinematics
- 8.Engineering Competencies Required : Vehicle Network Architecture Design ,Embedded Hardware Development,Functional Algorithm Design,Error Detection, Reaction Management & Calibration,Diagnostics Implementation,Design Optimization,Design Testing.
- 9.System Essentials Competency: Embedded ECU level Signal Processing (vehicle controllers),On Board Diagnostics with UDS protocol knowledge
- 10.Project Excellence competencies : Project Management,Interface Management,Supplier Management
- 11.Tool Set: Protocols: LIN, CAN, CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet,Embedded C, MATLAB,Vector Tool Chain: CANoe, vTESTstudio, VN5620 Ethernet HW Interface,ETAS Tool Chain: INCA; BUSMASTER
