Job Description:

• Responsible for Semiconductor design and engineering; designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. They determines design approaches and parameters; analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests & evaluate results. Common skill sets include Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, HMOS/MOS/CMOS, PLL, ADC, DAC etc.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members
• Develop Schedule for both New product and Installed base activities.
• Develop and present possible solutions to product management requests.
• Develop and execute process improvement within the global electrical team.
• Develop VHDL code to support FPGA and MPSoC based designs and debugging.

• Drive circuit board design, embedded software, system integration and design bring-up
• Demonstrate project management processes and procedures.
• Execute design verification/confirmation
• Contribute to a Continuous Integration and Continuous Development environment
• Execute any necessary engineering change processes as needed
• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science
• 5 years relevant experience
• Experience integrating embedded designs. Pulling together Electronics, software, VHDL
• Familiarity with embedded software and operating systems
• Exposure to designing for Cyber Security.
• Demonstrative knowledge of project management processes and procedures.
• Scripting language familiarity with Python, TCL, Perl….
• Desired Skills
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 7 years with documented track record developing products
• Experience developing FPGAs (design, debug, verification/test benching)
• Embedded Software development
• Analog circuit design experience driving Valves, Sensors, Displays and power.
• Experience in developing project plans and estimates…
• Experience in USB-C, Display Port designs
• Experience automating Continuous Integration and Continuous Development Environment.
