What you will be doing
  • Control and direct lubricant and grease plant projects development & execution, implement engineering practices, initiate implementation and support engineering programs to enhance profit & sustain operational excellence while ensuring all projects conform to company guidelines and control practices
  • Responsible to prepare the project budget item summary sheet, procurement requisition and job description
  • Support procurement function
  • Identify and assist in the implementation of innovative processes, technologies to achieve and sustain a level of competitive advantage in asset utilization
  • Provide direct technical support and guidance to the facilities (lubricant & grease plant) including direct Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) participation, shutdown/commissioning activities and training on new equipment installations
  • Responsible for optimal performance, budget, schedule and close out of projects and effective turn-over with Operations upon completion.
  • Develop scope, cost and provide support for projects as part of annual Planning & Budgeting (P&B) and endorsement (funding processes).
  • Ensure that all engineering activities are in compliance with existing regulatory requirements, codes, and standards.
  • Act as the liaison and focal point for Global Technical Engineers / Zone Process Control Systems Engineers
  • Ensure all contractors adhere to flawless Safety, Security, Health and Environment (SSHE) practices using Loss Prevention System (LPS) tools, align with construction, design specification and safety audit standards
  • Reinforce a safe working environment with zero incidents
  • Ensure contractors adhere to established standard procedures such as OIMS/ISO14000 and Job Loss Analysis (JLA), ensuring all procedures and processes are updated
  • Participate in safety walks, inspections, near miss reporting, Loss Prevention Self-Assessment (LPSA)
  • Familiar with Work Control, Work Permit procedures, and Tier 1 Best Practices (T1BP).
  • Actively involved in OIMS/ Risk Assessment/Internal Assessment /External Assessment and gap closures
  • Be a specialist in the OIMS system
  • Actively involved in SSHE program e.g. LPS, Standards of Environmental Care (SOEC), Global Pipeline Integrity (GPI), etc.
  • Ensure compliance on all waste disposals matters in accordance to regulatory requirements and company environmental policies.
  • Familiar with Brand and Product Integrity management System (BPIMS)/ISO 9001:2000 guidelines and requirements
  • Be familiar with ExxonMobil's System of Management Control such as Basic Standards, Policies and Corporate Oil Measurement Practices e.g., Hydrocarbon Control Practices (HCP), Controls Integrity Management Systems (CIMS), etc
  • Ensure compliance to HCP/CIMS/ Industrial Control System Requirements (ICSR)/IT Controls Manager (ITCM) requirements and the ExxonMobil Project Management System
What you will need
  • A Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in the oil & gas/petrochemical industry
  • Possess hands on project management knowledge in a lubricant/oil & gas/petrochemical or manufacturing plant
