What will you do?
  • Working closely with the hiring manager and the financial team, you will be trained in the Business Intelligence (BI) tool/s and apply knowledge and learnings to support the team.
  • Apply tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs.
  • Work closely with different data teams and other stakeholders including Product Managers, Pricing Team, Partner Management team, Sales Teams and the Material Master team
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Develop applications to automate consumption of data files for internal application.
  • Utilize corporate data platforms and support and maintain regional data for Product master data & Product Pricing automation.
  • Support the ecommerce & Digital Business initiatives with regards to Data and data visualization
  • Perform data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing, and analysis using SQL and other query & scripting languages.
  • Offer solutions or services based on existing portfolio of present IT solutions such as SAP and provide consultancy to the business.
  • Apply AI & Machine Learning algorithms and statistical models where applicable.
  • Manage expectations of business/IT stakeholders during the implementation of IT demands/projects (deliverables + timeline).
  • Maintain detailed relevant understanding of key technologies/platforms and processes that support the business.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements.
  • Handover IT solution/application on its completion to the support team and train stakeholders.
What will you need to succeed?
  • Degree or diploma in Computer science, Data science, Data Analytics, Statistics or related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership or initiative with a growth mindset, and a passion for learning
  • Collaborative with an ability to cultivate relationships and networks
  • Agile, technically savvy, with a knack at creating solutions
  • Creative thinker with a unique ability for resourcefulness
  • Relevant data analysis experience with IT and Programming knowledge ideally gained through Co-Op program / experience
  • Experience working in small/medium sized data migration projects
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SQL, SSIS, SAS, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge and experience with BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense), databases (SQL), programming (Phyton/R)
  • Skills / experience in SQL joins, sub queries, tracing, and performance tuning for better running of queries
  • Strong knowledge in IT technologies (Microsoft Windows/SQL server) and Microsoft cloud tools
  • Skills / experience in application development and knowledge of application development technologies
  • Working knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • Working knowledge of ML & Statistical Models is a plus
  • Ability to train others, facilitation and demonstration skills and abilities
