As a System Engineer in our Product Development team in ResMed Singapore, you will define the requirements and deliver innovative solutions for our patients. Let's talk about the role
- Support the Systems Engineering deliverables and responsibilities within a product development cross-functional team.
- Work with product stakeholders to decompose user needs, detail and maintain system requirements.
- To define the design architecture and interfaces to ensure successful integration with compatible devices and compliance with global regulations and standards.
- Constructively evaluate technical design alternatives on desired functionality.
- Collaborate with design and engineering disciplines to develop design outputs.
- Resolving technical issues with the engineering disciplines through root-cause analysis and reviewing issues with the cross-functional teams where required.
- Support demonstration of product performance with full traceability of requirements to supporting evidence.
- Work with product lifecycle engineering to maintain released products.
- Develop and maintain to risk management activities with guidance from senior systems engineering.
- Ensure adherence to systems engineering principles and quality system processes.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
- You have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical or Materials Engineering/Science. A postgraduate qualification in Biomedical Engineering would be an advantage.
- At least 3-5 years of work experience as an Engineer, a systems thinker, and highly analytical.
- You have experience in technical communication, requirements management, risk activities, and quality and compliance in a product development environment from a medical device or a highly regulated industry.
