Job Description:
  • Engineer Electrical design and obsolescence validation.
  • Electrical design and obsolescence validation engineer will be responsible for design solutions for PDC modules on obsolescence problems. He will be responsible design test setup for analog and digital boards and high precision modules.
Roles and Responsibility
  • Electrical design and obsolescence validation engineer will be responsible design PDC electronics modules and will be responsible for obsolescence validation of PDC electronics module. Problem identification and troubleshooting a variety of complex electronics obsolescence with limited supervision. Define, coordinate, perform and generate obsolescence validation test reports with limited supervision. Perform engineering analysis of difficult scope with limited supervision. Technically lead and/or executes design and obsolescence validation problems, including development of key suppliers. Implements concepts for variety of complex product issues and electronics module design and obsolescence solutions of difficult scope. Interface with internal and external customers regarding complex electronics obsolescence issues for specific projects Generate electrical product specifications. Specify and review engineering documentation.
Technical Skills and Competencies required.
  • Analog & Digital circuit design using ADC, DAC, Op-amps, Transistors, MOSFETS, Sensors, Signal Conditioning circuits, microcontroller/ Microprocessor, Memories, Various communication interfaces (I2C,SPI, RS485,Ethernet), IOT platforms Obsolescence process, Customer support for field issues, Interact with suppliers Electronic circuit modeling & simulation. Worked on projects from requirement to final product release (circuit design, prototyping and testing) and maintenance. Hand on experience on testing tools (DSO, DMM,FG, electronic loads etc.) circuit validation, board bring up , functional testing , trouble shooting, Failure analysis . Experience in developing detailed schematics and schematic capture using CAD tools. Expertise on PCB design process, Technical document writing Good Communication and interpersonal skills.
Good to have skills
  • Knowledge in product certification process (Handle testing at EMC/ Safety) labs is preferred. Knowledge in Documentation, release process, Reliability testing Knowledge in Power electronics devices, Industrial drives, Servo Motor drives and other electrical devices

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred)
