About the Company:

Job Description:

• Become familiar with the software under test and gain product knowledge.
• Design, estimate and execute automated tests to verify requirements in Aclara software products
• Work with Senior Test Engineers and Automation Engineers to design new test cases.
• Assist with the design and configuration of test environments.
• Generate and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of the test process.

Skills and Experience

• Overall QA experience around 1-3 years as automation engineer using selenium
• Good programming skill in any of the programming languages (C, C++, Java etc.)
• Strong knowledge in OOPS concepts is a must.
• Good Analytical skills in inspecting web-applications, for UI controls and ways to handle/interact with them, using Javascript, JQuery, XPath and CSS.
• Understanding of agile, iterative SDLC (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, etc.) environment is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with Minimal Supervision

Good to have:

• Hands-on, with using BDD, to write tests.
• Prior experience with Ruby, Cucumber or similar test scripting language.
• Prior experience in AMI domain.
