About the Company:

Job Description:

• Plans and executes the Quality Assurance activities to support Manufacturing, Engineering and General Business operations including technical oversight and the evaluation of products and processes. Includes the support of system quality KPI‘s
• Conducts gap analyses of in-house practices versus contract requirements, standards, and industry practices; develops plans and implements corrective actions to ensure continued compliance.
• Review, analyze, summarize, and present data to create data-driven decisions within the Production and Engineering environment.
• Participate in and oversee continuous improvements projects to increase productivity, eliminate scrap, and reduce rework operations. This would include standardization of routing operations, associated texts, and manhour requirements for Systems orders within the MRP/ERP environment.
• Supplier Management: Coordinate efforts with supply chain to qualify new suppliers, develop supplier programs and support supplier improvement efforts. Work with suppliers to help formulate quality standards to help minimize time and cost of inspection and reduces suppliers’ defects.
• Customer Relations: Review feedback from customers (internal and external), either direct or indirect, for quality related issues and when necessary, create, review, approve and/or engage in corrective actions, inspections, and supplier corrective actions. Leads, schedules, and supports the tracking of Customer Complaints and Corrective Actions. Drives Problem Solving culture through the organization. Oversees and participates in external audits by our customers. Able to review project specifications and develop necessary inspection and test plans.
• Inspection: Responsible for incoming, in-process or final inspection of parts, finished pumps or systems. Needs working knowledge of GD&T and ability to read Engineering drawings. Utilizes performance, test, and inspection data to investigate causes for product nonconformance and field problems and plays an active role in problem resolution. Maintain gage calibration requirements.
• Training: Participates in training programs for employees as needed. Evaluate training needs for assembly processes. Continuously improves and streamlines the process, developing human resources through formal and informal training such as cross training, participation in Kaizen events and classroom training.
• Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance; works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.

• This position will have remote flexibility after training (60% in office/40% remote).

• What we expect from you:

Skills/Knowledege/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering) or related field.
• 5+ years of experience performing quality, training, and manufacturing service activities in a relevant environment.
• Must be able to develop excellent working relationships with all levels of the organization to work through quality problems and carry out corrective actions identified.
• Experience developing ISO standards; achieved and/or maintained ISO certification in a manufacturing facility preferred.
• Quality certification is preferred
• A self-starter with strong work ethic
• Other requirements
• Fluent in Spanish is a plus
• Valid driver’s license.

• Domestic, based in Export PA, some travel required
• Planning, coordinating, and priority setting are critical to success
• Not required to manage a budget, but must be conscious and able to report on overall of cost of quality
