Responsibilities:
- Maintains the safety of biomedical equipment by installing, testing, calibrating, repairing and training users.
- Performs tests on new equipment, ensures compliance with codes, and makes modifications as needed.
- Installs new equipment by establishing, adjusting, calibrating, and testing its performance.
- Maintains equipment by setting up preventive maintenance schedules, performing tests, and troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions.
- Maintains equipment inventories, evaluates service contracts, and calls for special equipment service.
