ROLE 1 - BIOMEDICAL INTERNSHIP (USA)

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Biology/Biomedical Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Implementation of lean tools in support of Walpole's Lean Transformation program will be your responsibility
- By applying lean tools, you will streamline operations within the Filling and/or Packaging department
- KPI data will be collected by you
- Assist with the automation of data collection and reporting
- You will assist in supporting on-going lean supply chain projects
This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers
- You have completed studies as part of a Bachelor’s program in Biology, Biochemistry, Engineering or the sciences
- You are comfortable working with equipment that may process human or animal biological fluids
- You are comfortable working in a clean space environment with associated PPE requirements
- You have very good presentation skills in the business environment, and you show team orientation, communication skills and customer orientation
- You are open to learning in industry-specific areas like engineering/ manufacturing process development, regulation of manufacturing, and human biology.
- You pay keen attention to detail and organization and can demonstrate careful work habits.
- You are willing to ask questions and interact with colleagues to support your learning and develop inter-personal relationships.
Required skills to have for the success of this role
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program (rising junior or senior); fields of study include biology, biochemistry, engineering, sciences)
- Must have a current GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Must be comfortable working on-site while adhering to company-mandated COVID-19 protocols
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Communication and listening skills required
- Lean tool experience a plus, but not required

ROLE 2 - DESIGN ENGINEER INTERNSHIP (Singapore)
Job Description

What are my job responsibilities?
The intern will report to the assigned Technical Manager and is responsible for the following:
- Guidance on the design of signaling from the manager
- Coordinate and participate in design-related documentation and requirements
- Produce or check design work assigned by the Manager or Team Lead using MicroStation or AutoCAD software
- Preparation of project documentation
- Review and notify the manager of non-conformance designs
- Guided site visit and survey may be required in the course of work

What do I need to qualify for this role?
- Pursuing a Degree in Engineering
- Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD software is required
- Experience in Signaling System is an added advantage
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and also a good team player who can work well in a multi-cultural environment
