Job Description:

General Summary

Responsible to support Product and Test Engineers on screening Qualcomm products for internal shipments, reliability testing and critical data collection. Support bench test measurement equipment or ATE (Automated Test Equipment) setups, basic board repairs and debug for critical data collection as part of product characterization efforts. Track equipment and HW inventory, order, delivery and ensure to meet project schedule. Support test program integration and run quality checks on test programs, providing first level of debug.

Minimum Qualifications            

• Diploma graduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5 years or more working experience in Semiconductor industry is preferred.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• Good hands-on experience on bench test measurement equipment (such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, network analyzer, etc) setups, debug, and maintenance.
• Basic ATE (Automated Test Equipment) operating skills (either Advantest or Teradyne platform) and board repair.
• Good programming (Python, VBA, LabVIEW preferred) skills and basic knowledge of electronics and circuits.
• Basic statistics - mean, median, standard deviation, gaussian plots, box plots.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills for generating charts, pivot, etc for data analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills with “can-do” attitude.
• Team Player and proactive working attitude; do not hesitate in providing escalation to next level and able to collaborate well with onsite or remote team members.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experiences:

3+ years experience with design, development, R&D, or similar experience in Electronics or related area.
