Description:

A member of this team will oversee and supervise all mechanical maintenance related activities within the department of plant engineering and projects, ensuring all tasks are effectively completed according to company standards. Ensure timely maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment in order to provide quality and timely support to all other departments.

Ensure high level of quality in completing tasks to minimize future breakdown:
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on the machines will be your responsibility
  • Diagnostics will be conducted on breakdowns, and suggestions will be provided to improve efficiency
  • Prepare a work schedule, a schedule for equipment usage, a priority of expenditures, and a procedure for equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure effective stock management in accordance with standards
  • Purchases are initiated for stock replenishment.
  • Monitors the acquisition and use of materials in coordination with the procurement department.
  • Maintain time, work order and other shop records and submits reports to the manager.
  • Responsible to ensure that all safety procedures are followed as defined by the company.
  • Handle/assign resource to fix any mechanical issues within OCI premises.
  • You will proactively report to management on any activities/tasks that could disrupt production.
  • Jointly with the manager, responsible for in-house preparation of spare parts, drawings, specifications, and approvals.
  • Maintain complete inventory levels of utility accessories for chillers, fire pipe lines, etc.
Job Profile
  • Tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade must be well known to you.
  • Skills in installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of equipment and components.
  • Ability to estimate the time and material requirements of assigned projects.
  • Strong in communications.
  • Good analytical skills
  • A minimum of three years' experience in manufacturing.
  • Professional Project management experience with AutoCAD/solid works background is an added advantage
