Job Description:
Candidates must have 4+ years’ experience React.js front end development with strong knowledge of design principles, user experience and user interface for cross-browser compatibility, accessibility and SEO best practices.
Our client is a software development company specializing in interactive technology. As part of their growth, we are recruiting an experienced React.js front end developer who is available immediately to join their Dubai based team.
The role will be accountable for translating designs and wireframes into high-quality reusable and scalable code for web-capable devices and browsers.
Role Summary
- Build custom web landing pages, single-page web applications, email templates, new user-facing features and front-end build pipelines and tools based on responsive web design specifications and transforming wireframes and mockups into usable code for scalability and performance.
- UI development of CMS and UI testing.
- Manual unit testing.
- Source control.
Skills & Experience
- 4- 5 years’ professional software development life cycle – coding standards, code reviews, version controls, testing, CI / CD and documentation.
- Experience in HTML / CSS3, SVN, GIT, JQuery library and JSON data interchange format
- Experience in modern JavaScript frameworks - Knockout, Angular, React, Vue, SPAs, Node.JS, Jest, Flux and Redux
- Experience in CMS – WordPress, Magento, Strapi, Ghost, Drupal and REST APIs
- Experience of data structure libraries – Immutable.js
- Experience of testing – Selenium or
- Proficiency working from design files using Photoshop, InDesign or similar
- Working knowledge of PHP and Symfony is an advantage.
Candidate Profile
- Must be currently living in Dubai.
- Good command of the English language with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Must be able to start immediately – we are not considering candidates who are currently working and need to serve any notice.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
