Purpose:

To support the Electrical Engineering team in support of design and engineering work done for the hydrocarbons industry.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver project requirements according to client standards for local clients.
• Coordinate and communicate with other disciplines and the client.
• Support project requirements by working collaboratively and effectively with engineers and designers in our department.
• The candidate must be able to follow project schedules and prioritize work as necessary to meet project deadlines.
• The candidate must be able to learn on their own as well as through departmental mentoring.
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Worley Parsons Quality Assurance system
• Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
• Keep up to date with the latest developments and technological innovations in instrumentation & controls engineering.
• During procurement, construction, and commissioning activities, assistance and advice may be required.

What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience:

• An interest in learning industrial electrical design and control concepts
• An advantage is prior experience with cable/cable tray routing, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, and single line drawings
• Proficient in AutoCAD/MicroStation, MS Office Suite preferred

Knowledge of Electrical deliverables such as:

• Schedule of 120/208V and 120/240V panel boards
• Design of Relay Panels (JB)
• Single Lines and MCC Elevations
• Wiring Drawings
• Motor Control Schematics
• Electrical Equipment Layout Drawings
• Electrical Installation Details
• Datasheets (Electrical Specifications)
• Material Bill
• Scheduling of conduit, trays, and cables
• Material Requisitions
• Construction or Engineering Work Packages.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

• Electrical Engineering Degree or Technologist Diploma
