About the Company:At Providence St. Joseph Health, a national, Catholic, not-for-profit health system driven by the belief that health is a human right, 119,000 compassionate caregivers serve patients and communities every day. Founded by the Sisters of Providence and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, courageous women who brought health care and other social services to the American West when it was still an uninhabited frontier, we share a singular commitment to improve the health of all. Throughout our history, we have pioneered new solutions in response to new challenges. With 51 hospitals and 829 clinics, we serve communities across America's western states through a diverse network of Catholic, other faith-based and secular organizations. We need to apply their pioneering and compassionate spirit to a new frontier-a changing health care landscape-and plan for the next century of health for a better world, especially for the poor and vulnerable.
