Responsibilities:

• Participate in rotating on-call or interrupt schedules with the team, which may include weekends. Providing wired and wireless connectivity for multi-vendor, open flow SDN-based IPv4/v6 networks.
• Together with Engineering, Architecture, and Developers, identify, define, and update operational requirements to adopt technology into operations.
• Partner with engineering, operations, deployments, and developers to identify and resolve network operational and implementation issues.
• Establish, maintain, and review operational and deployment best practices across teams.
• By automating and reviewing code, you will drive efficiencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A master's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of enterprise class routers and switches.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of network hardware (routers, switches) architectures, including backplanes, ASICs, and distributed systems.
• Python or another scripting language experience.
• Experience with networking and application protocols such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, and HTTP.
• Knowledge of Open Flow and software defined networking concepts.
