Job Description

Key Qualifications:

• A working knowledge of the practices, functions and processes involved in the operation and maintenance of a combined-cycle power station (Frame GT26 or another heavy-duty gas turbine, steam turbine, or HRSG).
• Maintaining systems such as Water Treatment Plants, Oily Wastewater Treatment Plants, Chemical Dosing and Sampling, Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS), Electro-Chlorination Plants, Gas Regulation and Flare Systems, Seawater Cooling Systems, Trash Rakes and Bar Screens, Fire and Gas Detection Systems.
• Experience with PLC and DCS back-end engineering (reading logic, forcing/simulating, modifying logic). Experience with the following makes would be advantageous: ALSPA, DEPP2000, Rockwell TRUSTED CE3500, Siemens SIMATIC, GE iFix, Bently Nevada

Skilled with equipment of following makes and type:

• Minimax Fire and Gas System, Emerson X-Stream gas chromatograph, Emerson Fast Infrared Gas Analyzer, Auma motor-operated actuators, Rotork motor-operated actuators, Voith servomotors, Swan water and chemical analyzers, Chongqing SIC transmitters, Honeywell gas detectors
• Knowledge in maintenance of facilities such as CCTV, PABX, Internet

Education:

• Technical qualification in the Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation field

Employment Record:

• Knowledge of typical EC&I tools and equipment
• Experience in maintenance of power generation plant or equivalent facilities

Tasks assigned:

• Conduct electrical, instrumentation, and control-related activities under the supervision of the EC&I Engineer
• Preparation of Job Method Statements, Job Risk Assessments, and PTW requests
• Report to EC&I Engineer
• Reports on EC&I maintenance activities should be uploaded to the CMMS
• Keep in close contact with all the personnel at the plant, especially the other maintenance department personnel as well as the operation staff
• Conducting all business activities according to the GE Code of Ethics
• Perform EC&I related maintenance activities in accordance with the CMMS and the EC&I Engineer's approval
• EC&I Engineer is responsible for notifying him of any deviations from procedures or PTW instructions and requesting his assessment
• Assist in reducing maintenance costs by using consumables, parts, and tools efficiently and preventing their loss or damage
• Pursuant to the approval of the Site management team, can be incorporated within the outage crew during planned or unplanned inspections
• At any time ensure compliance with the Owner's, GE and legislative EHS requirements relevant to assigned duties and responsibilities
• Participate in O&M experience exchange events
