WHAT TO EXPECT

Product & Reman Programs is an integral part of Revenue and Loyalty, within the Global Customer Service division of JLR’s Commercial Organisation. Its primary function is to facilitate the delivery of products that contribute to global revenue and profit targets by understanding market needs/problems and delivering programs that help regions, NSCs, and importers to increase revenue and profit levels. In this role, you will scope, develop, and enhance the engineering of JLR service parts so that they remain available throughout the service life of our vehicles. Our service part product offering will become more competitive, which will also reduce our business costs and ensure legal compliance. Together with the project lead, you will define project priorities, be responsible for end-to-end engineering processes, and work with procurement, STA, supply chain, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll be highly organised and meticulous in planning. You'll have excellent attention to detail, plus you’ll be a confident and effective multitasker. You'll be process-oriented, resilient and enthusiastic. In addition, you’ll be able to deliver results under pressure, while responding constructively to new ideas and inputs.

You’ll also have:

• Prior experience and expertise in the specification, delivery, installation, and launch of parts, preferably in the automotive industry, but not necessary
• Knowledge of parts release systems
• Understanding of problem-solving tools such as 8 Disciplines of Problem Solving, Design of Experiments, and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) in Manufacturing
• Valid driving license and passport (occasional visits to suppliers and major markets may be required from time to time; flexibility is required)
• Degree or equivalent experience relevant to the field
