DESCRIPTION:

Transportation Team is looking for a passionate software programmer analyst who will work with business and operations teams to gather ship carrier requirements and collaborate with transportation technology teams to integrate new carriers and ship methods into the network. You have to design, develop, and maintain transportation documents such as shipping labels, carrier electronic manifests, and invoices as part of integration. You will also work on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects, updating and enhancing our current software, automating manual configuration processes, and documenting our systems. Our customers will directly benefit from your solutions! In this job, you must constantly hit the ground running, and your ability to learn quickly and work on disparate and overlapping tasks will determine your success. Applicants should be detail-oriented, possess superior verbal and written communication skills, possess strong organization skills, be able to juggle multiple tasks at once, work independently, and maintain professionalism under pressure. Identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages before they occur. You must be able to accurately prioritize projects, make sound judgments, improve customer service, and complete projects on time.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Circuit branches and due graduation in 2021.
• Strong object oriented development knowledge in C++ and/or Java.
• Knowledge of the UNIX/Linux operating system.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues.
• Demonstrates skill and passion for operational excellence.
• Documentation skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Circuit branches and due graduation in 2021.
• Strong object oriented development knowledge in C++ and/or Java.
• Knowledge of the UNIX/Linux operating system.
• Knowledge on velocity language.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues.
• Demonstrates skill and passion for operational excellence.
