Overview of the position:

• Our Field Service Technicians install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens in-vitro diagnostic equipment at our customer sites, primarily in clinical laboratories. Our approach to solving our customers' toughest problems is holistic. Siemens' FSTs are the "Face of Siemens" to our customers.
• Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics' Field Service Technician reports to the Regional Service Manager.

Tasks:

Field Service Technicians install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics instrumentation (primarily Dimension and Vista Chemistry products) at customer sites with minimal supervision. Ensures efficient and effective repairs as well as proper training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction. Meet or exceed budget for revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management within their territory. Maintain company assets such as a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as fulfilling administration duties accurately.

Knowledge/skills, education, and experience required:

A high school diploma is required; an Associates Degree or equivalent is preferred.
