Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop new MR cardiac applications to automate and simplify an MR exam, as well as improve the accuracy, reliability and efficiency of the patient setup, data acquisition, image reconstruction, analysis, and interpretation.
- GE technical lead on collaborative projects with academic partners to generate results that align with GE's roadmap and goals
- GE MR design controls will be followed when developing prototypes for external collaborators
- Develop new products with a cross-functional team of engineers and scientists
- Produce original research resulting in patent applications and scientific publications
- Contribute technical expertise and support to projects with internal and external collaborators
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in an engineering or science field such as Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics
- Knowledge of MR Physics, pulse sequences, and image reconstruction
- Experience in MR research and development
- Extensive experience in software design, implementation, and coding
- Theories underlying machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Communication and presentation skills are outstanding.
- Collaborate well and thrive within a dynamic work environment.
- Can-do attitude, flexibility, intellectual curiosity, willingness to work with a cross-functional, global team
Desired Qualifications:
- Ph.D. Degree in an engineering or science field such as Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math or Physics.
- Working in a clinical environment with cardiovascular applications
- Research on GE MR Systems and familiarity with them
- Experience with GE EPIC Pulse Sequence Development environment and GE Orchestra Reconstruction environment.
