Job Description: 

Perfect Built is a leading residential home builder and wants to appoint an experienced and motivated Civil Engineer. Your thorough knowledge of regulatory codes and strong work ethic will see you thrive in our high performing team.

Location:- Sydney, NSW

Salary Range:- $70,000 to $75,000 per annum

Role:- Full-time

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and implement project plans by using tools, such as Gantt charts and provide estimates for projects, as per the requirements.
• Prepare and analyse engineering designs, specifications, and drawings for construction projects
• Assess construction materials and costs by studying drawings and specifications
• Manage and coordinate multiple sites activities, including organizing availability of labor for the construction process in a timely manner
• Determine project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs and studying engineering designs and drawings
• Study architectural plans and optimize designs where possible to make them cost- effective.
• Organize and schedule the project and provide material delivery for all different processes by following the schedule and their requirements.
• Oversee construction activities and ensure that the projects are built as per the architectural plans, structural plans, specifications, tender and the regulations as per Australian Standards
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and support staff for various projects
• Ensure site safety and quality control standards of work at all times
• Monitor safety procedures and ensure regulatory compliance in construction projects by monitoring project progress and inspecting construction site

Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 Years of work experience in a similar role.
• Academic qualification – Master’s in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Have a current Driving licence and white card.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCad, Microsoft Project and Revit.
• Have the ability to follow instructions in detail.
• Commitment to WHS principles and practices.
• Confident, resourceful with good communication skills with a responsible approach to work.
• Friendly personality and can-do attitude.
• Strong project management skills, knowledge of building regulations, WHS regulations and QA systems.
• Have clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of problem solving and a good team player.

Australian citizens and permanent residents are preferred.
