Job Description:
A Biomedical Technician maintains clinical equipment using the Medical Equipment Management Program (MEMPs) and Denver Health business standards. Under the guidance and direct supervision of senior technicians, performs a variety of routine tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of a limited scope of biomedical equipment. Following instructions and policies of Denver Health and demonstrating professionalism and integrity in all interactions with customers and staff.

1. Education An associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or U.S. Diploma in Military Biomedical Equipment Technology (BMET). Secondly, A bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering is preferred. The first experience. One year of Biomedical Technology Military training or experience repairing and maintaining medical equipment is required or a BS in Biomedical Engineering without experience. Secondly, An Associate's degree is not required, but 4 years of relevant experience is. 1. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. . Secondly, Knowledge of relevant trade areas. Three. Skills in listening, organizing, and analyzing. Four. Integrity, maturity, and self-development. Five. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage complex customer situations. Sixth. Analyze alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems using logic and reasoning. Computers and Technology, Part 1. Microsoft Office Suite proficient. Secondly, Knowledge of networking and IT basics. Three. Know how to operate electronic equipment, computers, including hardware and software, as well as basic programming. 1.
