In India, the company is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured at its state-of-the-art facility in Andhra Pradesh for metro projects in Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow. Alstom is executing Signaling & Power Supply Systems along the 343km Mainline. A World Bank-financed freight corridor runs along the Eastern Seaboard. Construction of the new electric locomotive factory at Madhepura, Bihar for the manufacture of 800 12000 horsepower locomotives is also complete, while the Saharanpur depot is complete and ready to start operations. With the addition of an Engineering Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, an extensive manufacturing base, as well as localized supply chains, Alstom is uniquely positioned to serve customers around the world. Alstom India employs close to 3600 people and has been investing heavily in the country to produce world-class rolling stock, components, design, R&D, and business services to not only serve the domestic market, but also worldwide.
Job Description:
- Responsible for implementing changes at key stages of projects.
- Coordinate Métiers to implement the changes in anticipation mode in the first products (FOP) and ensure "Out-of-Sequence" implementation of changes as per project policies (baselines, batches...).
- Coordination of modifications for retrofits by Métiers
- Make sure the FG's are configured correctly.
- Ensure all validation and impact steps have been completed (method time, workstation, parts identified, safety/interim solution flags, etc.) and deliverables have been created.
- When commitments aren't met, engage stakeholders and define recovery plans
- Identify temporary solutions and record related implementation ranks if necessary
- The PrCCM requires the project to maintain a change register / database
- Prepare Work Orders and check the system's quality of information
- Make sure parts are available
- Confirm the physical implementation of changes (internal and external) continuously
- KPI's should be issued regularly.
