What skills & experience are we looking for?

We are looking for people with a passion for data and who want to grow their career to complement our team as a Data Management Specialist, with skills including:

• Understanding of Data Management and Data Governance concepts and frameworks
• Experience with, or knowledge of Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Quality, and Data Lineage tooling and principles
• Building trusted relationships with clients and acting as a trusted advisor in a client-facing/consulting environment
• Communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills that are excellent
• Analytical and creative thinking skills
• Contributing to a multi-location team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality deliverables within tight deadlines
• Self-motivation and proactiveness - you want to do the right thing for the client and grow through the process
• An eagerness to learn and try new things

Good to have experience:

• Delivering Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Quality, and Data Lineage tools
• Participation in a Data Management implementation program
• Knowledge of data-specific regulations, e.g. BCBS239, IFRS9, GDPR, HIPPA
• Experience with both short-term and longer-term client projects - ranging from advisory and consulting to wider delivery projects within an agile environment
• Knowledge of high-level aspects of software development lifecycles and infrastructure implementation

• Work with client teams to design and implement robust solutions to fundamental data problems – i.e. How do I find data that’s fit for my intended purpose?
• Improve the data culture within organizations so they can make the most of their data
• Defining standards, controls, and procedures throughout the lifecycle of data
• Understanding and delivering client requirements with good communication skills
• Bring your experience and ideas to innovate data governance, use, and trust
• Group members should be mentored and up skilled
• Become involved with special interest groups and our internal networks
