Overview:

This staff manufacturing engineer will lead and execute subassembly or assembly line transfer, including planning of process/equipment requirement and driving installation and validation tasks. This individual will partner with cross functional key stakeholders and project managers to drive the completion of the line transfer from end to end.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to determine and develop manufacturing line transfer requirement, timeline and milestones.
  • Establish detail execution plan and deliverables for manufacturing equipment and process qualification.
  • Lead and execute equipment and process IQ/OQ/PQ, including drafting protocols and reports.
  • Provide budget input on capital and expense related to the manufacturing lines.
  • Manage capital equipment, fixture, tooling procurement and materials for line qualification.
  • Define facility infrastructure, space footprint, utility, environmental and data requirement for the receiving site.
  • Facilitate and perform training for the receiving site on equipment operation and processes.
  • Report execution progress and identified gaps to program and functional management and provide mitigation plans when needed.


Qualifications


Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience:

  • BS/BA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in supporting internal or external manufacturing lines required. MS with 6+ year experience is also considered.
  • Manufacturing lines move or transfer experience on either sending or receiving site required.
  • Experience with process validation planning/execution, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and reports. knowledge of 21 CFR part 820 and ISO 13485.
  • Strong project management and communication skill
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% required
