Job Description:

This individual will have the unique opportunity to be a part of a large brand in the US market as a Health Information Technology Specialist. The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure that the brand is seamlessly incorporated into EHR systems at priority accounts. Self-starter, who thrives in ambiguity, and can be both a strategic partner and outcomes-driven. Additionally, the person in this role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive customer-specific plans, as well as working collaboratively with the Matrix team of Marketing, Access, and Sales.

Primary responsibilities for the position include:
  • Align resources so that comprehensive plans can be developed by priority accounts
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive customer-specific plans
  • Act as a matrix team Health IT subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Identification and dissemination of health IT insights to appropriate stakeholders (Marketing, Access, Sales)
  • Assist customers in addressing gaps in care for patients with nonvalvular AF and venous thromboembolism by addressing their EHR systems
Qualifications: External
  • Extensive Technical Knowledge, a minimum of 4 years working with healthcare software company(ies), including: Epic, Cerner, Medtech, McKesson preferred; and/or within a Health System informatics group or team at leadership level, or similar role within a pharmaceutical company
  • Certifications highly recommended, including: CAHIMS, CHTS , CHISP , CPHIMS and/or Epic
  • Expertise in healthcare and health information technology, as well as data mining techniques
  • Ability to act with a sense of urgency and accountability. (Internal) Description
  • Communication and interpersonal skills that are strong
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently within a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate market and competitive landscape knowledge into executable plans
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently and efficiently are required.
  • Up to 90% travel, which will include customer visits, and matrix team meetings, and access and sales meetings
  • Proximity to a Major Airport is essential
