An Associate Consultant is a technology professional who adds value to a wide range of Software Development lifecycle stages. Develop detailed design artifacts, test plans, independently develop and review code, and contribute to the go-live plan. Requirements
The basics
A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. I will also consider four years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
At least six years' experience in information technology
What will you do?
Engage in discussions with customers to collect and analyze scope information in order to provide inputs for project scope documentation
Participate in the requirement elicitation process defined in the project management plan to identify requirements gaps/issues (both functional and non-functional) in order to produce a comprehensive requirement document
Perform low-level design, provide pseudocodes, implement prototypes and conduct design reviews to deliver design documents as required by the customer.
Mentor the team in Technical Competencies and share weekly technical emails
Interact with the customer regarding issue resolution, provide status updates, and build customer confidence through technical solutions suggestions
What do we need?
- Degree in engineering
- Full-stack developer
- Experience developing applications, preferably in Java
- The following cloud skill set is essential
- Cloud computing with AWS
- Experience migrating applications to the cloud
- Experience setting up AWS infrastructure
Experience setting up EKS on AWS
- Red Hat OpenShift knowledge
- Experience with EKS, OpenShift, and Kubernetes
- Work experience with DevOps principles and preferably with Jenkins and GoCD
- Knowledge of OpenShift Cluster Resource management and deployment on AWS/ Azure/ GCP, including monitoring, logging and security implementation
- Installation and configuration of OpenShift in a production environment
- Integration experience with OpenShift components
- Experience with Gluster Persistence Volumes
- Experience integrating with Azure Active Directory
- Have experience with image scanning tools such as Twistlock
- Have experience configuring firewalls
- Basic UNIX, AIX, and Linux, Unix Shell scripting.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to analyze business requirements and build functional requirements.
- Experience in the industry should be at least five years.
- Good analytical skills and data analysis abilities.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and work on new projects.
- Information Security and Data Privacy laws are extremely important to us.
- Good knowledge of Web Servers, Application Servers, and Java
- Knowledge of Oracle and SQL
- Flexible enough to handle adhoc requests and agile projects
- The role requires flexibility to relocate within India and to customer locations worldwide as needed
