Education & Experience:
MS or BS in Biomedical/Electrical Engineering/Computer Science with hands-on experience collecting and analyzing data from biomedical sensing systems.
Key Qualifications:
- An ideal candidate will have experience collecting data using biomedical measurement systems and a background in image or signal processing.
- Instrumentation experience in biomedicine
- Possess strong programming skills in MATLAB; signal processing skills are a plus
- A working knowledge of experimental design; measurement system analysis is a plus
- An understanding of physiological feature engineering and feature extraction is a plus.
- Learns quickly and is willing to fail
- An understanding of basic anatomy and physiology
- Communication and documentation skills
Description:
You Will Have The Following Responsibilities:
- Characterize and qualify biomedical measurement systems for integration into data collection workflow
- Develop and validate test procedures for system qualification
- Improve data acquisition procedures for sensor measurements
- Conduct small internal studies with a focus on high-quality data collection
- Rapid prototyping of analysis concepts based on literature reviews.
- Develop robust analysis tools for large datasets (hundreds of thousands of images or signals)
- Verify and validate the software tools that are already available.
- Analyze experimental datasets statistically
