Job Description:
What you will do
- Communicate verbally and/or in writing with (or to) individuals or groups (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).
- Identify the concerns of associates, customers, and/or suppliers
- Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility
- Maintain quality and safety standards in the area of responsibility
- Managing financial aspects as assigned and/or within responsibilities
- Manages the daily operations of the maintenance department
- Monitor and manage the productivity of the area of responsibility
- Supervise and develop associates and leaders in the area of responsibility
Qualifications Minimum
- An Associate's Degree or Technical School Certificate in an Industrial related field and 1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance department OR a Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Industrial, or related field OR at least 1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees OR 2 year Walmart Logistics maintenance experience including six months experience leading a work or project team (e.g. risk control) OR 2 years supervisory experience in an industrial related environment; supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees with 1 year experience in the maintenance field.
Qualifications preferred
- Microsoft Office experience of one year
- Maintenance experience in an industrial warehouse for at least two years
- Experience with regulatory compliance (for refrigeration systems containing over 10,000 pounds of ammonia)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field; AND 2 years of maintenance experience, with 1 year of supervisory experience in maintenance
- The RETA Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO) certification
