Job Description

Product Owners are responsible for defining features and providing the best solution for meeting the customer's needs that is determined by Product Management. The company's internal and external customers, the research and SW development teams, and the product manager will be your partners to realize a SW product's features over the course of a whole product life cycle.

The following are some of the tasks a product owner performs throughout the product lifecycle:

• Knowing the backlog of features on that backlog and their relative priority
• Determine the best solution for a particular customer need and map these features from clinical use to engineering requirements
• Make sure that features are synchronized across teams and applications by coordinating with other Product Owners
• Discuss concepts with the end user and improve the same based on feedback
• Identify and implement technical solutions with the R&D team
• The user stories for concept features should be divided into smaller pieces and groomed for the team to execute
• Analyze the risks associated with the features
• The author is responsible for developing and submitting functional and nonfunctional specifications
• Develop acceptance criteria for features as part of the scrum team, train the team, validate functionality once it has been developed, and review test specifications and lead clinical evaluations
• Develop usability and customer acceptance standards for software developed from the viewpoint of clinical use, working with Usability engineers
• Review and contribute to user documentation where necessary by working with technical writers
• Trains and supports engineers in the development of imaging software within the clinical domain and its applications

How do I qualify for this job?

Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Tech (Computer Science/Vision, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging)

Experience and skill set

• An experience of one to three years in Medical Imaging is preferred
• Expertise in software requirements analysis with about three years of experience
• Having practical experience in requirement management (eliciting, documenting, and managing).
• Having extensive experience using requirement engineering tools
• An understanding of product management processes and methods throughout the entire product life cycle is essential
• Has experience with compliance requirements for external regulations
• Experience developing software using Agile methods
• Knowledge / Competencies
• Expertise of medical imaging domain and clinical workflow knowledge
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
