This position is for NFPC Mega Plant - KIZAD Abu Dhabi

JOB PURPOSE   

The position holder is responsible for injection moulding operations including basic trouble shoot, change overs of mould & downtime tracking (Line stoppage). The operator operates following machines as per demand requirement: - PET preform injection Machine, resin dryer, high pressure compressor, chiller. The following reports are prepared by the operator: -Hourly quality check list, raw material traceability, hourly production report, Line stoppage report, raw material consumption. 

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Operate, adjust, troubleshoot (basic &ndash remove cavity / dirt every three months), and changeover of Mould & operate robot equipment (injection moulding 16gm,21gm,28gm& 29gm).

· Set up machine controls (HMI Panel), regulating molding temperature, volume of plastic, molding pressure injection time and cycle time based on work order routing condition. (HMI panel)

· Conduct startup inspection (after SKU change) in terms of operation safety, Pneumatic connection, chilled water connection, Temperature parameter, cycle time, mold & cavity, and quality of FG sample.

· Attending machine faults-basic (stop & remove defective bottles).

· Through work order Identify Bill of Material (BOM), execute emptying the hopper. Dumps premixed plastic powders or pellets into hopper and start-up of machine

Skills & Qualifications Required

Diploma in electrical/instrumentation/mechatronics

2 year Experience Handling Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electrical Equipments.

2.Quality Technologist:

This position is for Dairy & Juice Plant - Mega Plant Kizad

 

JOB PURPOSE

QC Technician is responsible for the Implementation of the QC program designed to guarantee supply of products consistent with established standards.

Carry out the day-to-day operations of the QC.

Co-ordinate with the Quality Control Supervisor to ensure that all activities are being implemented.

Assist QC Supervisor to carry out QC related activities for Contract packing Operation.

 ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Filling Line monitoring (Physical & chemical )-Product release for production based on initial release checks (pH,Brix ,Product weight etc)

· Ensure Packaging integrity thru testing and update line manager for corrective action if required.

· Verify and confirm the ingredient additions are done as per the recipe issued by QA.

· Monitor temperature of cold stores, storage tank and other areas and update line manager for corrective action if required.

· CCP monitoring- Ensure CCP limits are as per the standards and update line manager for corrective action if required.

· Monitor the effectiveness of the Machinery & tank cleaning by taking swabs as per the agreed schedules.

· Ensure adherence of floor cleaning as per the schedule.

· Monitor the general cleaning activities in the plant on daily basis and suitably assisting the cleaners as per the requirement.

· Ensure the availability of hand towels and liquid soaps at each washing station at all times.

· Ensure cleanliness of laundered clothes and monitor Personnel hygiene activities.

· Work with Pest control contractor and related departments and ensure that the site is free of Pests. Ensure implementation of all Pest Control contract requirements.

· Carry out spot audits on daily basis and confirm set standards are met.

· Any other assignments given by the line manager.

 

Skills & Qualifications Required

 

· Bachelor's degree in Degree in Dairy Technology /Chemistry /Microbiology.               

· 2-3 years experience as QC Technician/Quality controller in medium/large scale dairy/food processing/Beverage/Juice /Water Industry.

· Knowledge HACCP/ISO22000 Food Safety Management System , Auditing 

· Good communication skills in English.
