About the Company:
Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) was framed on July 1, 1957 under area 54 of the Electricity (Supply) Act 1948 in the State of Tamil Nadu as a vertically incorporated utility liable for power age, transmission and dispersion. The power system has since been stretched out to all towns and towns all through the State.As per the arrangements under the area 131 of the Electricity Act,2003 TNEB was rebuilt on 1.11.2010 into TNEB Limited; Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO); and Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited (TANTRANSCO).
Required Skills/ Qualification:
A Degree in Engineering or Technology allowed by a Statutory University in significant order.
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology allowed by an Institution engaged to give such degree by an Act of Parliament in significant control.
A Diploma in Engineering or innovation conceded by a State Council or Board of Technical Education built up by a State Government in significant order.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology allowed by a University in applicable control.
Age Limit:
As Per the Apprenticeship Rules.
