Key Responsibilities:
  • As assigned, support the unit with submissions, proposals, reports, and follow up.
  • Monitoring and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets and expenditures.
  • Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Organize the office, maintain meeting agendas, and assist in scheduling appointments, meetings and conferences.
  • Attends meetings and keeps track of actions discussed during the meeting.
  • Any other tasks and/or works as requested by direct supervisor
  • On-call availability at any time.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
Educational and Technical Qualifications:
  • University Degree.
  • Must have experience in Coordinating for projects in the IT industry.
  • Must be an Arabic speaker
  • Extensive software skills are required word processing, creating
  • spreadsheets and presentations, and filing.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to work with teams.
  • Ability to deal with shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge in dealing with personnel with different communication styles from team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
  • Extensive experience working with government agencies.
  • Knowledge of the port and logistics industry and business processes is good.
Language Skills:
  • Must have fluency in English – Good Written and Spoken
  • Must be an Arabic speaker
Years & Nature of Experience:
  • 3 years of experience in the Coordinator role.
