About You

Manage & support the Microsoft Navision Master Version tools (ERP) for the IKEA stores in the UAE with a specific focus on new stores with clearly defined business processes & working methods in line within the concept framework and guidelines. Manages the build-out and implementation of new stores in coordination with Regional Service Office.

What’s more, we believe that you have the following knowledge, capabilities and motivation:
  • Live and share the IKEA values every day
  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification
  • More than 5 years’ experience in the IT field, preferably in the retail sector
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision 2013 onwards is a must.
  • Be able to solve technical and software problems and apply preventive actions
  • Have IT security awareness
  • Strong team player and good communication
  • Flexible with time and willingness to support/attend calls outside office hours (if needed)
IT TOOLS (MULTI CHANNEL) & BUSINESS PROCESSES
  • Responsible of store’ Master Version Microsoft Navision, QlikSense, Microsoft CRM & IKEA IT infrastructure.
  • Managing the ERP systems for efficiently operating the business processes with well-maintained IXP/EDDA data.
  • Assist regional IT teams with the implementation of all necessary Master Version upgrades (Service packs & Hot Fixes)
  • Coordination and standardization of all technical upgrades and implementations across the stores for greater efficiency.
  • Manage all current systems and infrastructure, including servers and services, on a daily basis.
  • Database administration for store systems including integrated data flow to regional systems.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Be a part of the team that sets up the full store infrastructure in conjunction with Regional IKEA & AFG's teams
  • Manage new store project - IT Infrastructure, telecommunications, Navision & LS Retail implementation, Extended LAN, IKEA Tools, Digital TV Solution, CCTV, Visitor Counting, DOMS, IP Telephony, as per the standard IT Platform recommended by IIS B.V.
  • Responsible for rolling-out any IT tools launched by Inter-IKEA for existing & upcoming stores; in coordination with Regional IT Project Manager
BUSINESS SUPPORT / CONTINGENCY
  • Management of user access and authorization in MV apps
  • Provide 24 hour support for retail support functions (three stores, one cocp) and external warehouse operations.
  • Maintain data consistency across the MV platform by managing and maintaining data replication/integration modules
  • Coordination of all IKEA systems with the IKEA IT department (Sweden) - EDI (IXP) - Supply chain, PTAG plus, Home Planner (IHP2), IRW, XLAN, e-com, etc.
