Job Description:
- Implement and maintain network infrastructure in Cloud and Hybrid environments according to defined standards and policies.
- Using infrastructure-as-code and security-as-code, automate controls and processes to provide better metrics and operational support.
- Manage operational duties within a cloud-centric environment using cloud native tools such as Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and other tools.
- Liaise with the core teams (Enterprise Architects, Lead Cloud Architects, other infrastructure teams) to ensure compliance with approved standards and guidelines.
- Be part of a multidisciplinary Cloud Team that takes ownership of new deployments as well as operational activities.
- Providing L3 support for firewalls, WAFs, privileged access management systems, and other network security systems and tools in the cloud and on-premises.
- Manage vendor escalations in a timely manner. Maintain SLA compliance by tracking incidents and problem tickets.
- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance outside of business hours, following the company's change management procedures
- Create documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles as needed
- A degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining secure Azure solutions
- Minimum 7 years' experience managing firewalls, WAF, and privileged access. Management of systems, identities, and access
- Excellent knowledge of enterprise networking, including IP subnetting, Network Security Groups, routing, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, load balancer, and DNS
- Demonstrated experience with scripting and automation, orchestration tools, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD concepts to automate creation of testing, staging, and production environments.
- Strong familiarity with Azure's cloud capabilities and services
- Certifications in Cloud Administration, Security, Architecture, and Governance, focusing on Azure
