Job Description:

Roles and responsibilities

Evaluation of biomedical equipment issues, implementation of appropriate repairs, and performance of planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections to support our customers' ability to provide healthcare.
Follow company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met; ensure documentation of all work performed is maintained.
Build strong relationships and communicate frequently with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Maintain proper care of tools and test equipment to deliver timely and accurate repairs and maintenance.
Identify and report all customer quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization to ensure the highest ethical standards are met.

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of experience servicing electrical, electronics, IT or mechanical equipment.
Knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical circuits plus understanding of electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
Understanding of schematic diagrams.
Be available after hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.
