Your tasks and responsibilities:
  • MRI Customer Service Engineer responsible for maintaining the daily service maintenance and repair needs of the customer’s high end medical imaging equipment, including installation, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and system modification on demand
  • You will perform basic troubleshooting, start-ups, installations, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
  • Preventative maintenance and field modifications will be performed.
  • Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times will be your responsibility.
  • The ability to generate professional technical service reports in a timely manner is an administrative responsibility.
  • You will be in constant communication with Customer Care Center and accept all operational advice.
  • Your role will be to maintain customer communication between you and the customer, to ensure the best outcome.
  • The tools and equipment you handle will be properly calibrated and handled correctly.
  • Customer service issues will be resolved by using the escalation process.
  • As a Siemens Healthcare employee, you will comply with federal, state, and local regulations and safety standards, as well as technical and operational guidelines
  • Providing efficient service delivery to all accounts in your assigned area will be your responsibility as part of the local team.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering.
  • Fresh graduate or maximum 1-2 years of technical work experience in MRI
  • Problem-solving and customer service experience.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office programs, including a level of proficiency in computers.
Your attributes and skills
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as the ability to explain complex technical issues in an understandable manner.
  • Independent, resourceful, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Multitasking abilities with shifting priorities. Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Frequent travel is a requirement of the job.
