What part will you play?

Be part of a passionate and innovative team working on digitalization with a Cloud based IoT system
  • Your tasks include the design, implementation, and test automation of software functionality from Siemens owned and developed SIDRIVE IQ ecosystem for connecting to industrial drive technology and embedded control systems
  • You are at the center of various tasks required for the implementation of IoT data services, scalable cloud architectures and the use of big data approaches in an industrial application scenario.
  • In your role, you are part of an agile development team and work independently on development packages in relation to solution design, implementation and testing of edge/connectivity software functionality
  • You are actively involved in knowledge transfer within and outside of the dynamic team
  • You are part of an innovative business for our drive technology portfolio. The focus is on collection and utilization of data from the drive system from both field applications as well as new feature development associated with virtual data and data models.
What you need to make real what matters.
  • The basis of your success is a successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or Automation Technology.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in the development, engineering, and commissioning of drive systems. Advanced degree may be substituted for required experience.
  • You have proven knowledge and capabilities programming languages (e.g. c#, go, Java)
  • Moreover, you have experience and competence in use of edge/cloud-based technologies, frameworks and applications (e.g. Linux/Windows, .Net core, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of industry-standard IT infrastructures and the challenges of implementing IoT solutions.
  • Experience in dealing with relevant development, test automation and scripting tools (e.g. Git Hub, Xray, python, pytest, postman).
  • A general understanding of app development in an edge computing environment, including system design, cybersecurity awareness, database expertise and networking concepts.
  • Customer orientation, collaboration, communication skills as well as mobility and flexibility complete your profile
  • Required Travel 5-10%.
Preferred Experience/Knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of variable frequency drive technology. Specifically, low-voltage converters for a power range extending from 0.12 kW all the way up to 6840 kW applications.
  • Experience in a DevOps environment.
  • Experience in a global (digital) team.
