- Prepare contextually and pertinent pitches and acquire an understanding of the business environment of the potential merchant. One would need to be good with data and have a good understanding of businesses in order to do this, and they should be able to explain how PhonePe can benefit this company.
- Present the overall business plan and PhonePe solutions to key stakeholders. This would necessitate having strong client relationships and being able to talk to multiple CXOs and senior management on the merchant's side.
- Participate fully in every stage of the BD/sales process, from proposal to negotiation to conclusion. This would necessitate proficiency with numbers and negotiation skills.
- Plan the long-term, annual, and monthly plans for the portfolio or industries being managed as well as the strategy.
- Take responsibility for all of the business's metrics and key inputs that would drive the business.
- Be in charge of growth and development initiatives for all merchant segments, as well as the development of merchant adoption plans and the collaboration with various stakeholders necessary to make the plans operational.
