Siemens Mobility Limited is seeking a Communication Intern for a 12-month internship. Besides supporting the entire company and team, you will be working on exciting projects that will develop your communication and business skills, and you will have the freedom and autonomy to think for yourself. Your base would be one of the following (subject to Covid-19 restrictions): Euston, Poole, Chippenham or Northampton, but some of your time will be spent working from home, and some UK travel will be required throughout your internship.

Taking on the Challenge
- Delivering key messages through communications activities
- Ensure all communications are on brand and adhere to guidelines and best practices
- Execution and logistics support for internal and external events
- Supporting social media plans across a variety of platforms, including Yammer, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- As a reliable point of contact, managing our relationships with our agencies and suppliers
- Budget and finance administration for the areas within your remit
- The ability to write across a variety of media and channels for a variety of audiences, including internal and external articles, web content, blogs, social media, speeches, etc.
- Challenges, questions, and suggestions for process improvement
- Finding, identifying, and uploading images, videos, and other web assets to our Digital Asset Management platform.
- Managing, reviewing, and testing web content
- Knowing how to use and maximize all the main internal communication channels and being a point of contact/troubleshooter for the rest of the team
- Support crisis management situations as needed
- Support our partner charities with at least one paid volunteering day within six months (subject to Covid-19 restrictions)
Candidates should demonstrate the following qualities:
- If you are studying towards or have achieved a 2:1 or higher in your degree
- You will have excellent writing skills and be able to explain complicated concepts simply
- During this course, you will demonstrate critical thinking and analysis, be open to self-learning and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
- You are able to work independently, safely, and responsibly; you take ownership of challenges and ideas, and you are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
- Collaborating with others to find innovative solutions appeals to you
