With close coordination with the client's senior team, this position will manage the relationship with the client and execute multiple projects/programs with an offshore team. Manufacturers of medical devices and IVDs are the clients. We are looking for someone with strong program management experience in a product research and development environment. The ability to develop medical device software is essential. Electromechanical product development experience is a plus.
Position Responsibilities:
- A successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of application software in medical devices, such as Electrophysiology or Cardiac Rhythm Management (development, testing, automation).
- Leadership skills are used in order to ensure that cross-functional resources are assigned and held accountable for task and outcome completion.
- Meets timelines and objectives of projects (per project contract).
- Assists product development teams in successfully completing the phase review process. Maintains and executes the phase schedule. The action items resulting from phase reviews are resolved in a timely manner by providing leadership clarity.
- Bringing clients' and Capgemini's KPIs to new heights by improving productivity, quality, team productivity, and resource usage.
- Communicates between the Client project team, the onshore and offshore project team, and senior leadership of the Client and Capgemini.
- Provide partnership and ensure that projects are executed in accordance with regulatory and client QMS requirements.
- Responsible for hiring and maintaining a project team and ensuring the team is trained for up skilling.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Electrical/Computer/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in software program management in medical device R&D/Engineering developing application software for medical devices.
- Extensive experience executing R & D programs in the medical device or IVD industry.
- Functional knowledge of Electrophysiology and Cardiac Rhythm Management.
- Various challenges associated with automation of imaging applications and image processing.
- PTC Integrity testing tool and customizations.
- The Python scripting language
- Slicing and dicing data from DOORS, JIRA, Swarm, PTC Integrity, and IRC tools. To provide analysis to clients.
- Good understanding of Medical device product lifecycle standards such as CFR 21 Part 820 and ISO 13485
- Having experience with client service, both onshore and offshore, will boost your chances of success.
- Software development processes and methodologies for medical devices with good experience in Agile software development.
