About RBS & Team: The RBS group in an integral part of the Amazon online product lifecycle and buying operations. The team's goal is to ensure Amazon remains competitive in the online retail space with the best price, wide selection and good product quality and information. Are you passionate about solving business challenges at a global scale? Amazon Employee Services is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team and help unlock insights which take our business to the next level. The ideal candidate will be excited about understanding and implementing new and repeatable processes to improve our employee global work authorization experiences. They will do this by partnering with key stakeholders to be curious and comfortable digging deep into the business challenges to understand and identify insights that will enable us to figure out standards to improve our ability to globally scale this program. They will be comfortable delivering/presenting these recommended solutions by retrieving and integrating artifacts in a format that is immediately useful to improve the business decision-making process. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as an outstanding business acumen. The ideal candidate knows and loves our customers (internal and external) and will work back from the customer to create structured processes for global expansions of work authorization, and help integrate new countries/new acquisitions into the existing program. They are experts in partnering and earning trust with operations/business leaders to drive these key business decisions.
Roles and Responsibility:
You will be responsible for an Operations team for Private Brands. You will have to interact with multiple stake holders across the globe (US, EU etc). You will be working on big data analysis (understanding key information from large data). Duties may include, taking part in planning, organizing and directing the work of subordinates or others, outline procedures and instructions on work received, make time estimates on new jobs received, check accuracy / quality of content creation / population done by others, ensuring records are maintained accurately, ensuring utilization of team is high, mentor and train new team members.
· Work with various teams (e.g. Business Teams/Stakeholders ) to help drive tools and process improvements that impact Private Brands process
· Work closely with internal product and project teams to design scalable and auto-resolution solution.
· Manage the team of Managers and or strong individual contributors and ensure high service delivery and execution
· People Management (leadership role, Category Lead, team management, floor control and retention)
· Analyzing Trend.
· Formulate, Implement, Track career path & Individual Development Plans of each member in the Team
· Metrics Management,
· Stake Holder Management
Key Performance Areas
· Manage Operations : Own business goal(s) & define operational metrics aligned to goal(s); Establish process for tracking metrics; Drive projects; Proactively identify risks / gaps
· Planning and Forecasting : Foresee capacity issues to prevent escalations with little support/intervention from manager
· Quality and Process Excellence : Deep dive & identify root cause of issues; Identify SOP / process changes that impact quality and drive to closure
· Building solutions - Automation based process improvement solution adopted across teams; Work with program / tech based process to define requirements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 2+ years experience in program or project management
· 3+ years’ of people management experience.
· Experience leading process improvements
· Full time MBA, with over 4 + years of experience of which a minimum 3 + years in managing people and interacting with customers / stake holders
· Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business “by the numbers”
· Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. Ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly. Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented
· Proven deliverables in managing automations through leveraging Python, ML, etc.
· Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel
· Technical Background preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Manage the team and ensure high service delivery and execution
· Operations management.
· Has demonstrated business acumen in driving organization wide programs/project
· Process improvement and Kaizen
